Pork ginger gyozas

Pork ginger gyozas
Serves 4 to 6

Ingredients

  • 500g minced pork
  • 2 carrots
  • 2-3 of finely cut branches of celery
  • 2 tablespoons of finely cut fresh ginger
  • gyozas skins (30-40)
  • spices (garlic, pepper, onion)

Directions

1. mix pork, vegetables, Ginger, garlic, pepper and onion
2. moisten the top half of a gyoza skin with water
3. place a teaspoon of the mix at the center of a gyoza skin
4. use a fold the lower half over the mix and press on the edges of the gyoza skin
5. once you made enough gyozas, put gyozas in a frying pan in a small quantity of oil for a few minutes, max 5 (until lightly brown)
6. turn the gyozas halfway through
7. remove gyozas from the frying pan
8. poor 1 cup of water in the frying pan and put the gyozas back in the frying pan once the water is hot
9. cover the frying pan and steam the gyozas until all the water is gone
