Bananes au four (Baked plantains)

Ingredients
- 4 Plaintains ((early stage of ripeness and firm))
- Ground meat (or a simple tomato gravy for vegetarians)
- Onion and spices (salt, pepper, onion and garlic in powder…)
- Oil
- Cheese… of course, for coeliacs and casein intolerants, you can add your favorite gluten-free cheese or any cheese made with soy
Directions
| 1. | Cut the onion in small pieces |
| 2. | Mix the grinded meat with your favourite spices and the onion |
| 3. | Brown the meat for approximately 15 minutes; remove the meat right before it’s done |
| 4. | Peel the plantains and cut them into 2 pieces, lengthwise |
| 5. | Remove the middle part of the plantains; try to make a hole without breaking the plantain in two |
| 6. | Put the grinded meat in the whole and the cheese on top |
| 7. | Put the plantains in the oven at 380°C for approximately 20 minutes And now, time to dig in!! |
| 8. | Mature plantains may get sticky when baking; to avoid some cleaning, place a piece of aluminum foil and oil |
| 9. | Serve them hot |
| 10. | Preserves well in the fridge |
