This recipe is the one that made me curious about spice combinations and about how they could reveal aspects of ingredients that would have gone unnoticed otherwise. I find it quite well-suited that it is a chocolate recipe, because let’s face it, chocolate makes the world go round :). The combination here is the chocolate cinnamon one, the cinnamon radically alters the chocolate taste, without affecting the depth and richness at its core. Genius. And of course, who can say no to melt-in-the-mouth chocolate fondant. A winner.
